About
2023–2024:

“Enjoy Sound Through Sight, Savor Images Through Sound.”
2024–2025:
In order to further develop last year’s radio project, workshops were organized with the collaboration of representatives from various sectors.
“Perspectives and Methods for Continuing to Simultaneously Perform, Throughout One’s Life, the Roles of Facilitation, Dissemination, and Planning.”
TAKASAKI CITY THEATRE

This initiative sought to return to the school and the local community the synergistic benefits generated by the Japanese language classes and the guidance provided to the broadcasting club.
At that time, some high schools had begun introducing presentations of learning outcomes using digital signage connected to social media.
However, because there were no established models of online articles that combined images and text, I created this piece with the intention of providing a reference for students who felt hesitant about sharing their own work.
These articles were also presented as examples in my classes.
I also drew on representative books that explain how both adults and younger learners can develop their expressive abilities.
Furthermore, when the broadcasting club students took part in national competitions and in integrated‑arts performances, I wanted to share with a wider audience what I had learned alongside them as their instructor.
For that reason, I used those experiences as a reference when creating the article*.

Intro: 今昔(kokon) – Nakagawa Masashichi Shōten
* 今昔 (kokon):
This catchphrase intuitively conveys the appeal of a shop that offers high‑quality products by blending the tradition of Japanese craftsmanship with a contemporary sense of freshness and gentleness in both design and functionality. The name “kokon” is the reading of the classical Japanese word “古今”, which means “the past and the present” or “from long ago to today.” Although “古今” is an archaic term, the repeated ko sound has a soft and pleasant resonance, making it still familiar to Japanese speakers. “古” means “the past,” and “今” means “the present.”Writing it in romanization gives it a visually fresh impression in Japan.
Among traditional Japanese expressions that refer to “the present and the past,” there is also “今昔”, pronounced “konjyaku.” To emphasize that the shop offers a tradition that feels new to contemporary people, the expression first presents the word containing “今”, and then applies the reading of a word meaning “past and present,” creating an element of surprise that allows the message to be perceived on multiple layers.
